"John Bro" theory of:
Aurora-class Hyper-Jump
The Pulse wave to super-Magneto-hydrodynamic insertion is a multi-stage event -- witnessed by very, very few
-- and understood by even less.  At first glance, the pulse wave drive engine would look like an extended,
suped-up version of high-performance military-type turbine jet engine.  Yet, to accomplish its mission -- it is far
advanced to an F-15 or even an SR-71 engine.
Firstly, the power-plant must be super-sonic air-induction capable -- better known as SCRAMJET - Via a complex
set of air inlet ramps & a 'dual spool' engine with compressor variable Vanes ( CIVV's ) + Rear Inlet Variable
Vanes (RIVV's) -- combining their Vortexes -  the engine air intake is of a speed and compression capable of
providing enough oxygen to sustain the combustion at such high altitudes ( thin air ) and to keep the engines
temperatures within manageable FTIT & TT2  parameters. (Fan Turbine Inlet Temperature & #2 Turbine
Temperature)  Also, a highly-volatile fuel would be required.

When the turbine speed is at 104% RPM -- taking the throttle 'around the horn' -- will avail 5 or more 'rings' of
augmentation ( after-burner ).  At this level of operation -- the airspeed of the craft is equivalent to the fastest
planes known to most mainstream aeronautic engineers.

Beyond the maximum afterburner - is a little known function designated 'Super V-MAX' ( MAX Velocity ) Basically,
it is a massive dumping of raw fuel emanating from a nozzle set located between the concentric rings of
Augmentation ( Mixing sustained explosions just behind AB )

Engine operation at a continuous Super V Max load would cause catastrophic failure within a 2 minute span --
due to temperature -- not to mention the rapid consumption of fuel.  The engineering solution to this limitation
is a synchronized & rhythmically timed wave - or pulse - of Super-V-Max detonations.  This serves to keep
FTIT,TT2 within limits, RPM ( % ) below 'over-speed' - saves fuel-- and it basically keeps ones tail and fuselage
from catching fire.  Safe operation of PWDE creates 'donuts-on-a-rope' contrail.


Within the shape of the airframe -- and at this incredible speed, we can achieve the condition of 'Air Spike' -  

This 'wall' is conical in shape -- and will ultimately engulf the entire aircraft within its reduced-pressure/friction
'cell.'   It is basically a shield, yet the aft position is not altered.  The aircraft is figuratively in a bubble with the
backside open.  

Then the Super-Magneto Hydrodynamic device is initiated.  This device 'heats' the sheilding of the air-spike --
which is now acting much like a balloon being rubbed across a carpet -- and the charge is building at an
exponential rate.  Then the pulse-Drive engines are pulled out of Super-V-Max -- and basically put into 'neutral.'  
To an observer on the ground... the 'donuts-on-a-rope' instantly disappear.  With Optical stealth in operation - a
ground observer would only see an 'orb' apparently pop out from the 'donuts-on-a-rope.'  There would be a
momentary trajectory....

Then the SMHD drive is initiated -- basically reversing the polarity of the Microwave/Super-heated & electrically
charged 'air spike' cone --  ( the most simple parallel that I could make is; like when you took that balloon that
you rubbed on the carpet -- and touched it -- and got the shock ) --

Anyway... the enormously-charged airspike & SMHD  -- and with the craft within... --  'seek to ground' - far up in
the atmosphere.   The result is a 'Hyper-jump' - that looks very much like something out of StarWars.  

Instantaneous 'strip of yellow-shimmering
fire' -- craft jumps 15 mile expanse in a
Contrail suddenly stops --
Apparent white "orb" is ejected
momentary delay; then --
Slow "Doughnuts-on a
rope" contrail forms -
No source craft is visible.

old technology

To initiate a hyper-jump -- or 'MHD insertion' - an aircraft
would need to achieve an extreme altitude ( to avoid
potential witnesses & possible ground damage caused by
skyquakes ) - would require the velocity required to initiate
an 'air spike' - ( Conical magneto-sphere enveloping the
entire airframe -  to reduce friction and drag to
approximately 1/3 ) --  to safely convert to SMHD propulsion.
"When traveling at such speeds, A thrust wall (the aircraft is traveling so fast that molecules in the air are rapidly
pushed aside near the nose of the aircraft, which in essence becomes a wall; like a sound barrier) is created in front
of the aircraft. With a high enough velocity ; it would engulf the entire plane."
